• Points:
  The client gets points for purchase from companies and may use it against future purchases. These types of rewards are used in food related businesses such as restaurants, coffee shops and sometimes department stores. This is a tactic used to make sure the customer comes back.   The clients act on behalf of the vendor and get a set amount on a gift card to be used in a specific business or location. This type of a reward works like a gift to the client. This might be good for some companies; however, there are some limitations to these gift cards. The client has to spend it only in a specific place. In some cases the person may not even use that type of merchandise or service. It may work for some businesses, but we like to do it in a better way.
