Just one of our many services is the provision of certified payroll reports for clients who need it. Many government contractors require certified payroll reports as part of the Davis-Bacon Act, which began in 1931. This act requires government contractors who work on projects meeting certain thresholds need to submit certified payroll reports each week. This applies to many workers, including construction workers who repair government buildings (through electrical, drywall, plumbing, painting, decorating, and other tasks) and those who work on bridges and roads.
Certified payroll reports include information such as the information of the contractor who worked on the job, how much they earned, and more. All of the information in the report needs to be entirely correct and specific in order to avoid penalties.
