• By law you need to keep payroll reports for at least four years. All the bi-weekly, Quarterly and Annual Reports should be kept in case you are selected for audit by any of several agencies. Examples are the IRS, State agencies or Workers Compensation. Not having these reports could be costly. In the hands of others you may have to pay for printing of reports and for storage of the information. Eventually you will want to have the reports shredded and then you will need to pay for that also. We look to be environmentally friendly and save trees by using the digital resources available to us to store the reports. Currently there is a shift from paper storage to cloud based storage. Digital archiving is long term storage of files. This can be done by scanning the paper documents into the computer which can be a costly process or have someone do it for you at no charge.

  • At www.Green60.com we care about the environment. We store the files for you in a cloud based website. They remain there forever even if you are not using our service. It doesn’t take up space in your office, you don’t have to pay someone to store the reports and now you don’t even have to think about shredding them. If you ever get audited we can provide you with a username and password so that the auditors only get access to the information they need. Let them pay to print out the reports and this then is another saving for you.
